Liberty Township Republican Committee is proud to endorse incumbents Pete Karcher and Wayne Spangenberg for Township Committee.

 

Peter Karcher and Wayne Spangenberg are proud to be part of the Liberty Township team that continues to operate under a stable tax rate, while providing essential services and maintaining the rural quality of life that we enjoy.

 

• Received $921,000 in state aid grants for road improvement projects 2020-2026

• Received $ 230,000 grant for water quality and lake management in 2026

• Funded $420,000 to the Mountain Lake Fire Company between 2020-2026; in addition to liability, workers comp and vehicle insurance coverage, plus sponsoring $91,600 in outside grants.

• Received $141,000 in grants for recreation facility improvements that are currently underway: construction of a new Lifeguard shelter at Mountain Lake, new pavilion roof and storage shed at the recreation fields

• Saved $55,000 in salary, pension and health benefits with a shared-service arrangement

• Added $36,000 annual rental income from New Jersey State Police starting in 2026

• Passed zoning ordinance prohibiting data centers in all areas of the Township

• Provide subsidized  6-week summer recreation program serving approximately 100 Liberty Township children
